This topic is dedicated to the analysis of the value added processes that can be applied to the multimedia database of indexed contents. It is notably concerned with the issue of repurposing involving authors knowledge.

The processes sought involve the following factors:
• Semantic enrichment of existing index systems in order to facilitate the integration of relevant content, as well as its re-use.
• The elaboration of a strategy to enable the development of a logical publication structure based on the relevant “genre”.
• The implementation of this publication “strategy” according to retrieval devices (sites, mobile, DVDs, etc.).

The approach adopted is based on the formalisation of the various skills involved in each of the steps outlined above and their implementation within software applications using knowledge engineering languages such as conceptual graphs and technologies based on the Semantic Web (OWL/RDF).
