Ina SUP provides training courses for its partners and international clients, on site or at Ina SUP premises located in Bry-sur-Marne, 12 km east of Paris. Courses are available in several languages, notably English but also Arabic, Spanish, Portuguese, Russian or Vietnamese.
Ina SUP training courses by can be adapted to the relevant cultural environment, and the equipment and teams in operation. Ina SUP also organises missions to assist in the setting up of corporate training plans.
In recent years, Ina SUP experts have carried out appraisals and developed tailor-made training programmes for the following institutions and companies: STV (Saudi Television), EPTV (Algerian Television), Al Jazeera’s children’s television station (Qatar), Belgacom (Belgian telecommunications operator), TSR (Swiss-Romandy Television), the Burkina Faso National Communications Council, Orange-Sonatel (Senegal), 2M (Morocco), Congo National Television (Congo-Brazzaville), National Office of Television (Tunisia), TDA (Algerian television broadcaster), the Polish Ministry of the Arts, Azer Films (Azerbaijan), Kazak Films (Kazakhstan), Fondation Patrimonio Filmico Colombiano (Colombia) etc.
Since 2001, Ina SUP experts and trainers have been providing advanced training courses in production as part of a comprehensive, long-term training plan developed by Morocco’s public broadcaster, SNRT.
Examples of recent international missions
High definition
Radio Télévision Swiss Romande and Belgacom staff participated in advanced training sessions on high definition. The sessions raised awareness about the new challenges of high definition, and helped prepare for forthcoming developments in the sector.
Going digital
Training was provided to the Republic of Congo National Radio and Television Centre, which has recently set up a digital station.
Lighting, computer graphics, sound
Training modules leading to recognised qualifications were developed for EPTV (Algeria’s public broadcaster), specifically aimed at new recruits.
TNT – digital terrestrial TV
Ina SUP is renowned for its training methods in the broadcasting area. It has been selected by a number of different bodies to train their teams, including Tunisia’s National Broadcasting Office.
Programme production
Training was provided on the range of different steps involved in producing a television programme, from design to production, and from filming to reporting techniques, for technical and artistic teams at 2M and SNRT (Morocco) and Al Jazeera (Qatar).
Preservation and digitisation of audiovisual archives
The Saudi Arabian Ministry of Communications and Information requested Ina SUP to undertake an appraisal, including a mapping exercise of its existing archives, and an analysis of digitisation processes with a view to creating a preservation, digitisation and storage system for its audio-video archives.
