In the digital world, the exploitation of audiovisual content benefits from a wide range of new outlets such as Internet and mobile phones. Examples that will illustrate new uses of archival content in all media platforms through new IT tools will be assessed.

Which strategical approach for Archives to fit the new digital environment ? What are the existing tools for restoration and digitization ? What is a digital medium ? How to manage the transfer of the analogical archive ? How to organise the acquisition, preservation, documentation, storage and distribution of digital archival contents ? How to guarantee the long term preservation of digital archives ? How to provide the best accessibility to these archives ?
